Hello, World
My name is Natalija, but out of all the variations of this “rare” name, I usually go by Nat.
I live in Finland with my wonderful partner Gunta. It was here, after moving from our native Latvia, that I picked up my hobbies: knitting and sourdough bread—the very “gentleman’s kit” that’s supposedly a young person’s scare tactic. I got into bread long before it became a pandemic mainstream and I took up knitting a couple of years ago.
So, there really shouldn’t be any questions about what this blog will be about. But just in case you’re wondering, here’s a sneak peek at what’s to come:
- Life in Finland and our adventures here.
- Lots of knitting, and hopefully, a page where you can pick and purchase something warm and cozy for yourself or your loved ones (I knit a lot, and there just aren’t enough chilly hands and feet around to keep up).
- Sourdough bread—recipes, tips, and the whole process.
- And definitely something else I haven’t thought of yet.
So, as they say in these cases, stay tuned!
