The set includes two PDF files:

Pattern Details

This baby set includes three seamless pieces: booties, mittens and a pixie bonnet. Each item is designed for comfort, simplicity and an effortless fit, making it a great choice for both beginner and experienced knitters.

The booties are knit in one piece from the cuff down, featuring a classic ribbed cuff, a back-and-forth top section and a smooth well-shaped sole. The mittens follow a straightforward structure with a 1×1 ribbed cuff, a garter stitch hand section and simple top decreases. The pixie bonnet is worked flat in 2×2 ribbing and garter stitch and finished with an invisible seam and neat I-Cord ties.

The pattern provides a structured yet flexible approach with adaptable stitch counts and clear detailed instructions. Video tutorials are included to guide you through key techniques such as shaping the sole, joining the seams and knitting the I-Cord ties.

Sizing

Designed for newborns with a stretchy fit to accommodate growth.

Gauge

The pattern focuses on achieving the correct stitch count rather than a strict gauge requirement. Approximate sample measurements after washing (in a relaxed state):

• Bootie length: 8 cm
• Mitten height (including cuff): 9.5 cm
• Bonnet width (between the points where the ties begin): 16 cm

3.5 mm circular needles.

Yarn

Any DK weight merino yarn (105–125 m / 50 g).
